“IES offers a family oriented community approach. Every morning parents, staff, and students get together for 'Team Time'. We dance and sing to the macarena, the chicken dance, YMCA, and other fun songs. All staff discipline students in the same manner. If you yelled 'Five!', students would yell 'Four, three, two, one.' and then dead silence. Teachers greet/say goodbye to each student individually with a hug or a hand shake; and teachers actually like kids! and other staff as well. I have been a parent at IES for three years and am currently completing my practicum there for my Masters. This little brick school house is ideal for close knit families and a great treasure!”
