Stephens Middle School Reviews

I am a student at Stephens! I think it's a great school!!!! I like how teachers stop in the middle of class and help students! My favorite teachers are Mrs.Gering, Mrs.Paul, and Mrs.Workman. I personaly LOVE this school! I am moving away from that school and I am very sad! :(

Stephens is too big! The students pick on other students and nothing is ever done about it! The teachers know it's going on, but they just turn their backs until the student comes to them. The teachers are very unfair about schoolwork too! They give extra homework to the kids who don't talk, just because a few students were talking! The teachers always have the option to send students out of the room but they never do! So they punish the good students for their mistakes! Do NOT send your student here!

School is huge! Too many kids...not enough teachers...kids are allowed to tease and pick on children and nothing is done about it. Lots of issues with these kids on the buses too. Not a lot of interaction between teachers and parents...they only call after your kids are behind in work...I kept telling them to contact me if even 1 assignment was missing...but no one called!!! Even offered email contact but nothing.

School officials especially disciplinary staff appear to be prejudice towards minority kids and often make minor offenses into mountains when it comes to discipline.
