McNary High School Reviews

I went to this school. On the good side of things, the teachers there are great. They are always willing to help out and I thoroughly enjoyed being in class. Ms. Young was amoungst one of the greatest teacher's I've ever had and I remember the lessons she taught everyday. Thank you to all the teachers who do not let others influence the way they teach and let students find out who they are.

I love the school the teachers are really involved and helpful and they do everything possible to help you . The students are all really nice and everyone pretty much gets along.

One parent teacher conference a year, so if would like to know how your child is doing be ready to know on that one day. There are many incompitent people who work there. Staff see kids doing things they aren't suppose to but are to lazy to do anything about it. The class sizes are rediculously overfull and crowded. Seems that organization is an issue around there. I will admit they have alot of extra-curricular activities around there, but I don't believe those type of activites better a school... It's gonna take a lot more than that.

One parent/teacher conference a year. A few good teachers mucking around in a mess that they have little control over. It's a sad commentary on the state of our schools.

There is not many parent teacher conferences but other than that, the campus security is really good and the teachers are pretty good about the homework, and the finding everyone's learning ability level, not everyone as a whole, but everyone as one self!

McNary High stinks! If any issues arise, they do nothing. Theres lots of bullies and nothing ever done about it. Things happen right in front of staff and they would rather not deal with it.

McNary High School is great school with a wonderful history of providing opportunities for success for students of widely varying background. McNary students have opportunities to explore and excel a wide variety of extra-curricular activities: athletics, music, drama, even bowling and an equine team. Teachers work with all ability levels and provide both encouragement for students who struggle and rigor for those who are ready for academic challenge. Perhaps what sets McNary apart from many public high schools is the way students from all ethnic and economic backgrounds mix and interact. Both students and staff strive to keep an atmosphere of mutual trust and acceptance of diversity; this allows all students to participate fully in the social interactions that make high school a rewarding experience. McNary High School is a very special place.

This is a great high school. Many opportunities for extracurricular activities and elective classes.
